City & Guilds Qualifications

We are registered with and approved by City & Guilds for conduct of courses leading up to the Certificate Level, Diploma Level and Advanced Diploma Level examinations for awards in Hair Dressing & Beauty Therapy.

All students to date have performed very well at the examinations obtaining excellent results.

N.V.Q Qualifications

We are accredited by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission of Sri Lanka for the conduct of courses leading up to the award of N.V.Q (National Vocational Qualifications) at level 4 of Hair Stylist & Beauticians vocations.

Award of N.V.Q is the forerunner of the exercise to standardize vocational education in Sri Lanka.

N.V.Q in future will be the officially recognized qualification for vocational education as G.C.E (O/L) and G.C.E. (A/L) are for educational achievement.

The need for N.V.Q is the result of diverse organizations awarding Diploma Certificates without due reference to a skill level or approved curriculum.

N.V.Q Sri Lanka is fast gaining acceptance in other countries too as a reliable measure of vocational skill.

City & Guilds examinations are held twice a year in early June and early December

Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses commence in February for the June Exam and July for the December Exam.

8.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. on Saturday

NVQ Course
(06 months) January to June and June to December
